Terms and conditions
Terms for using Your Family Archives
This is a practical product policy for early users. It explains the behavior expected when storing family data, inviting relatives, and reviewing changes.
Using Your Family Archives
Your Family Archives helps you create private family trees, store family photos, invite relatives, and review suggested changes. Use the app only for information you have a right to add and share.
Family Data And Permissions
Owners control who can view or help with a family archive. Family Managers can help manage access inside one archive. Contributors can prepare suggestions, and Family Members can read shared information and request contributor access.
Photos And Uploaded Files
Only upload photos and files you are comfortable storing in the archive. Portrait photos may be visible wherever that person's profile is shared. Removed uploads can remain for a short cleanup period when they are no longer referenced.
Respect For Living People
Family history often includes living relatives. Do not add private contact details, health details, sensitive notes, or photos of another person unless you have permission or a reasonable family purpose.
No Guarantee Of Historical Accuracy
Family trees can contain mistakes. The app provides review tools, version history, and exports, but users remain responsible for checking important information before sharing it.
Account And Access
Keep your account secure. If access is removed by an owner, you may lose the ability to view that family. Support may help with account issues but will not change ownership or private family content without proper authorization.
